Savage Gear SG2 Jerk Specialist Rod

The Savage Gear SG2 Jerk Specialist Rod is a fast action rod that has plenty of power in the butt section and benefits from a forgiving tip section whilst under-load, making it the perfect jerkbait rod.

The new SG2 range have a black blank and are finished on a Japanese 20/30T Toray blank. These rod blanks are lightweight, strong and very responsive, ensuring you feel in total control when in use.

Fitted with the ergonomically designed Seaguide competition double lock carbon reel seat that provides a secure and comfortable reel fitting. The Seaguide CCS stainless steel guides that are mono and braid compatible and at the same time providing precise and effortless casting.

The EVA handles provide enhanced grip and a low maintenance design that can be easily wiped down after each session. This rod is the XH (Extra Heavy model) and has a casting weight of 80-150g and will handle jerkbaits such as the buster jerk up to old school musky jerkbaits.

The rod comes in two pieces, making the handle the second section, ensuring they are not compromising the performance of the rod blank itself.
